Greg Dattner unleashed his fury at The Cycle Sports Circuit Race in Doylestown winning the Men's 4/5 race, perhaps the biggest payout of the year. Wyatt Stoup finished strong in 8th.
Wyatt wins at Grandview!!! Wyatt Stoup won the Cat4/5 race at the Grandview Criterium. It was a pretty stacked field as most of the big cat4 teams were there. Wyatt got in a break of 4 and outsprited his breakaway companions to take the win!! CCV-IHB had some other good results as well, click on the results link to view them.
Another exceptional race weekend.... Several team members headed out to Lancaster to race in the Comeback Criterium. It was a very hot and humid day and several guys raced in two races. In the Masters 40+ CCV's Joe Hamilton was in a 4 man break for most of the race then attacked with 3 laps to go dropping his breakaway partners and winning handily!!
In the Cat4/5 race Eric Salzer took 2nd and Mike Ciunci 7th. In the 50+ race Rick Steele finished 12th. In the Cat3/4 race Kyle and Marty were in the winning break with Kyle coming in 5th and Marty 7th. In the Cat4 race,with the field shattered Greg Datner and Wyatt Stoup were in the lead break when Greg attacked with 1 1/2 laps remaining and went on to win!! Wyatt played it perfectly and sat on the Shirk's wheel to only to come around in the sprint for a 1,2 finish for CCV-Iron Hill Brewery. Eric Salzer was again racing and finished 15th while Mike Ciunci raced again as well and finished 20th.
Chester County Velo-Iron Hill Brewery is definitely leaving it's mark on the racing scene this year!!
Kyle Centrella wins, Marty gets 3rd! Congratulations to Kyle for winning the road race in the Giro di Jersey and finishing 6th overall. While Marty gets third at the Bloomsburg Town Park Criterium. Way to go boys!
Who We Are...
The Chester Country Velo Racing Team began informally in 2005 and developed into a serious, organized team over the last few years. With over 25 cyclists, ranging in age from 18 to 60, the team is committed to maintaining a strong presence on the bike racing scene in Pennsylvania and the surrounding mid-Atlantic region.

Looking to end strong
With the team riding very well, we are definitely one of the marked teams in all the races. The season is nearing the end but we are looking to finish strong. With Wyatt all but clinching the Junior 17-18 BAR Championship and Marty within reach of the Cat3 BAR CHampionship the remaining races are very important.
Chester County Velo-Iron Hill Brewery racing strong... With the season now in full swing, we are making an impact on the racing scene. From the juniors to the Master's 50+ we have numerous wins and planty of top 10 finishes. Everyone is racing well making Chester County Velo-Iron Hill Brewery a team to watch come race day
